Video "Watched" Behaviour
I was hoping if somebody could fill me in on whther this is
a) by design b) a bug c) a properties setting somewhere I can't find Yes, I am lazy and have not looked at the manual yet. Sorry, but your help is appreciated. I have noticed that if I start watching a recorded program and then stop play back before, oh, say, half of the show is played back, that when I return (maybe a few days later) it is marked to exactly where I left off allowing me to continue watching. However, if I stop playback after more than "half" of the show has been watched, when I return to watch the end of it, I will find that the entire show has been marked as watched. As a result, I have to fast forward/find where I left off last. Can anybody validate for me that have experienced this same issue? Any other ideas on it? One possible key piece of information ... I do all of my video watching over the MVP. The Sage Server is in the basement. Thanks!

it's by design: by default when you start watching a show that is already marked as 'watched', it rewinds automagically. This can be disabled in detailed setup/customise/Reset watched status when played again (manual page 189)
BTW, I think the 'more than half' threshold to mark a show as watched is more like 75%...
