Geforce 6600 GT vs. 6200 w/ Purevideo??

I currently have a Geforce 6200 and I am getting some Deinterlacing artifacts when watching video from a DVB card. About half the time it will work perfect and then it will revert back to improper deinterlacing, and goes back and forth.

On Nvidia's website it shows the 6200 does not support Inverse Telecline or bad edit correction and the 6600 GT does. Will upgrading the video card get rid of these issues for me?

I'm having similar problems with a 6600GT as it happens. Sometimes seeing black flickering lines on playback but not just DVB-T feeds, it seems to be happening with everything including DVDs.

on some sources my 6800gt also displays bad deinterlacing with the purevideo decoder. Like you said it switches frequently.

usually when that happens I change the purevideo deinterlace control to automatic, or force a certain setting. This seems to fix the issues for me.
