help... Placeshifter does not like new server...

Because I was pleased with my trial of sage, I built a totally new media server with dual tuner and upgraded hardware.
Like the old server, the new server has MCE for OS.
Just as before, MCE is used for local viewing and sage for remote viewing.

PS worked wonders under the old server and is being run off my laptop.

Sadly, PS is crashing since the new server when clicking or right-click while in full screen mode.
The menu also renders very slowly with some jittering.

Also, the image quality of the client (run off my laptop also) is worst than with the old server while the image quality of PS remained the same.
Like before I use "Max mpeg quality" and no transcoding.

I don't care much for the client and only want PS to work properly.
MCE and the sage media software work fine and much better on the new server (used locally).

i had similar issues and it turned out to be the version of java i was running (had it on auto update so was running the latest version). I downgraded and the crashing went away (i have other issues still but that fixed most of the problems) - i think default with Sage is java 1.4.15 or something like that.
