Is there a "Wooden Spoon" prize for someone who can only manage 85 posts in 1218 days. I feel ashamed. What have I been doing all these years ??
How time Flies !!!

Cheers

I just realised that I built my first Sage box in Oct 2004 (about 20 months ago), and some how in less than 2 years, sage went from 2.0 upto 5.0.4. Holy moly batman! Somehow, I went from 1 tuner and 80 gigs of space on a single box...to 3 clients and a dedicated server w/ 400 gigs of HD space in that time. I guess we all just get bigger (and hopefully better) as time goes huh (I know my belly has...oy)? Now can we get a better music jukebox? Maybe with multizonal audio?!?!?!

Thumbs up Old Fogies....

Well... 1179 days... and I could not be happier with Sage. For me it all started with a old Creative MPG2 card which had poor audio synchronization with the video. Sage Recorder promised the best with this card and God knows Jeff spent far too much time attempting to get this 'perfect'. The end solution was of course to upgrade to a Hauppague 250 card, then Sage TV, then free listings, then..... Its been fun and I haven't even went to HD yet.

I don't want to get into a stability debate but, the server has been up for 42 days and the last time it was down was for a New Tuner install.

Thanks Jeff and Dan...

System: Server 2K3 w/AMD 2100 & 512KB, 800GB; Running Sage 5.04 with a Haupage 250 and a 150 tuner & 2 clients and 2 placeshifters [total of 3 MVP's in house], Homeseer X-10 control, IIS for home WEB service, Home file Share.
