Ok, here are the modified buttons, in case anyone wants them. To create a new theme, do the following:

• make a copy of your current 'Images' folder (the following assumes the new folder name "Images_new", but you can name it any way you like)
• extract the button graphics to the new folder
• copy the desired background image to 'background.png' into the new folder (or: select a new background in the SageMC settings later on)
• shut down UI
• edit the Sage property file and add (use the next unused number)
  • ui/themes/7/image_root=Images_new
  • ui/themes/7/title=New MCE Theme
• restart the UI
• go to the themes menu and switch to the new theme
• restart the UI once more

Here are a few background choice examples:

1) the original SageMCE theme
2) one of Mikes cool new background images
3) the new original SageTV 6.1 background








If you just want the transparent background buttons and not the grey focus buttons, copy only the four "*_nofocus.png" graphics.

Hi Guys,

It's teaser time

I just thought I'd give a little preview of some of the latest graphics I'm working on. I'm in the process of finally putting together a new theme from the gound up. It will include new backgrounds, selection bars, main menu graphic, color coded guide bars, diskbar graphics, genre icons, show icons, and menu title graphics and hover icons. The selection bars and backgrounds will be available in assorted colors.

I'm dubbing it... iCandyMC (for now)

Here is a screenshot with some of the new graphics.

I was getting tired of the old stuff and I thought it was time for a new fresh look. And since I'm waiting to hear back on testing of the toolbar and I passed Project X back to Dirk, I was able to to find some time to play. However my window for doing this stuff is still however long I can stay awake after 11:30pm. I'm really excited about this new look, so I think it will come together quickly.

He, he. Somehow, I think the deviation from the webserver icons is completely fine with me, LOL. (Actually, if you want, I wouldn't care if you didn't provide new ones anyway. I'm pretty happy with what I put out there a few weeks ago.)
