Multiple Avermedia a180 tuners?

I currently have 2 a180 tuners and a ATI HDwonder. Can I add a 3rd a180? I know the drivers supports 2 cards, but was not sure about 3.

Thanks, Chad

Sorry that I can't answer your question, but I can ask you one.
I just got a second a180 tuner and can't seem to get it working with the first. Both work individually, but as soon as I try to install them both, one of them won't get a signal. When I do the channel setup and "view" a channel, I get 25% on the signal reading every time, but no picture. The other card (whichever one was installed first) always gets a good signal on the same channel (75-100%). Did you have to do anything special to get two of these working simultaneously?

Thanks!

I am far from an expert on this, but I know I had to download the current drivers off their web site that support multiple cards (I am just not sure how many cards it supports). You might want to check device manager and update the drivers for the card to make sure they are current. I have used both cards for some time and never had a problem with them using Windows XP. Chad

Hmm... I appear to be using the latest drivers already. Do you know if there's a way to "force" xp to re-install the drivers? When I try to "update driver" on the cards and point it to the downloaded ones, it says I already have the latest (presumably because they're already installed).

I just installed a trial of BeyondTV just to see if it would work there and it did without a problem, so the issue appears to be with Sage - or at least my setup of it. But I tried uninstalling Sage and then re-installing and going back through the whole setup process, but I get the same problem.

Does anyone know if there's a way to totally "clean" the system of both Sage and the card drivers to try it fresh?

Thanks!

Well I have never had much luck with that part of the setup. I have each card do a scan, but when I try to click on the view it never has worked correctly for me. I just skip that part and continue with the setup. I do know all of my cards work and the signal is great on all 3 cards. Are you sure the cards are not working? I would just finish the setup and record 2 shows and see what happens. Chad

Hey popechild, did you ever get your second A180 card installed? I am having excactly the same problem. One of my card never gets a signal in Sage TV. I'd really appreciate your help on this!
