Help needed with LCD Smartie

I wonder if someone might help me please, with LCDSmartie.

Using SageTV (5.4), I have two tuners set up in LCD Smartie. All is working well except for recordings. They weren't showing up on the LCD. Instead, the default Date/Time was showing. I finally added them correctly (I think) to Screen 3, but their still not showing, unless I force it manually. I'm sure it has to do with the "Action" settings. I kind of got it, I think. Here are my Action lines:

$dll(sage.dll1,0,1) > then go to screen(2) Disabled
$dll(sage.dll,2,2,) > then go to screen(3) Disabled

Screen 1 is enabled, showing date and time.
Screen 2 is the "Live TV" screen.
Screen 3 is the "Recording" screen (only 1 tuner so far. Not sure how to add the 2nd))

This works, but only for 5 seconds. After which the screen goes back to default date/time. If I make the recording screen (3) "Fixed", then it stays fixed on screen even after recording is finished.

Ideally I'd like to have it setup so that if I'm watching something it will show that shows info. If I'm not watching something, but it's recording something, then show what it's recording. If it's recording nothing and I'm watching nothing, then show the current date/time.

I hope all this makes sense. I'm a bit new to this kind of thing (not computers). I'd appreciate any help.
