What is the difference between a 6200 and 6600

I currently have an NVIDIA 6200, and have the oppurtunity to upgrade to a 6600. I use both an ATI based capture card, and a Fusion 5 Lite for HDTV, with the Purevideo drivers. I'm running the VGA out to my 55" HDTV (analog) at 1080i. I use the overlay, because I get choppy HD playback using VMR.

Would it be worth the effort, or will there be no difference in the picture quality?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I have another question..I also have a 6200. I output it at 480i even though my TV will handle1080i through component cables. Is your TV 16x9 or 4x3? If 4x3, when you use 1080i do you get 16x9 going through component? or 4x3 full screen? if 4x3full screen, what settings are you using to get that?

Thanks,

Gary

My TV is a 55" 16x9 HDTV with a VGA input, so I just run the video over a VGA cable, and use the custom resolution of 1080i that comes with the NVIDIA driver. I have the aspect ratio in SageTV set to "source", so HD content is 16x9, and SD content is 4x3, with gray bars on the sides.

The difference is about 400 right? Just kidding, I have a 6600gt and I still have to run in overlay. If you are getting the 6600 for free, then its a no brainer. Otherwise I'd wait and build a new system after the HDCP compliant cards become readily available and cheaper.
