MVP boots, live tv and video files show "trial" - PAL issue?
Hello all, I have just bought a mvp, it boots fine, the menus all work, but any time I try to watch "live tv" or a recording, or any video I gist get a black screen and the word "trial" where the video should be. I'm using DVB-T tuners, everything works well on the server, it also works using a client computer, just no picture or sound on the MVP.

For the 'trial' issue, make sure you've closed SageTV on the server and stopped the service, if using service mode, before registering the extender license. (See p. 255 in the v5 manual.) This might not be your case, but sometimes the registration doesn't stick if SageTV is running at the same time.
Edit: I missed that it was still in trial mode w/o a purchased extender license, in which case the word "trial" will appear on the screen. - Andy
