Placeshifter for Mac via Parallels

I know this would likely be considered unsupported, but when video is played in Placeshifter the audio portion comes through fine. The video remains black. If anyone has this working, did it just work? Did you have to tweak settings? Would someone from Sage be able to comment on what to look at to make it hopefully make it work?

The sage TV client works pretty well in Parallels but placeshifter gives me the same black screen. Placeshifter really needs the same video rendering options as the full client to be really useful.
