White bars across top of screen
Now that I have installed Verizon FIOS service, I am getting moving dotted white bars across the top of all of my recordings. The bars are not coming from the client but are actually part of the recording since they show up when playing the .mpg files through other apps. Attached is a screenshot.
Anyone have any ideas on this? I know I can overscan them off the screen but wondering if there's any more sophisticated approach. Thanks. Matt

Now that's just plain wrong.
Here I am still trying to find ANY way to fix some of the problems I'm having, and you're trying to find ALTERNATIVE ways of fixing a problem that already has a fix. I don't know any other way, but the un-sophisticated approach works perfectly for me as far as that issue is concerned, so that's what I go with.
