Avermedia Capture Card - strange problem

I've noticed on occasion I'll go to any channel in Sage and there will be no sound with my Avermedia tuner card. I'll go to another station and still no sound. But, if I then go to setup video sources and go to Channel Setup, View then I will get sound and if I then go back into Sage guide and go to a channel I then get sound. I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or a Sage issue. Anyone else ever have this problem?
