Empty result from ShowAnalyzer?

Hello all, I just found this highly rated software ShowAnalyzer and gave it a try. But the default setting didn't detect any commercial. Is this normal? Here is the result .txt file:

You don't mention what the show is and what channel/network it was recorded from. If it was something like HBO, Showtime, etc then it probably wouldn't find any commercials.

If it was recorded from a network with commecials then please disregard.

This software works about 80 percent of the time. Not bad for me. It also depends on what channel you record on. Some channels don't have the logo and some do. Also, if a show has DARK area's, sometimes it will detect that as going into a commercial break.

This is using default settings and I've not changed any of the settings.

I've used SA before and like some of its features, but it seems that recently the quality has gone down. For example, it used to flag 95% of the commercials perfectly for me. At that time it did not support HD recordings so I moved back to comskip. I just recently tried going back to SA 0.7.10 to get some extra features, like the ability to get info from the webserver, but found that SA marks no commercials for the 50 or so shows I tried it on. While at the same time comskip hit everyone perfectly.

I've now moved back to comskip. You may want to give it a try, coupled with the new comskip_edl plugin.

I've found that it's sensitivite to Analysis Depth -- I've been working with numbers in the range of 18-25 here in the US (Maryland). I too have been a little disapointed with the last few versions. It used to catch 95-99% with no false firings, now it's getting a little worse, but it I'm still playing with Analysis Depth a little before I give up and go back a few versions myself... Or, maybe I'll give comskip a try and try it again in a few versions?

Thank you all for the replies. It's a gymnastics program with commercial breaks. It also has NBC logo too. The program was aired and recorded in US (Oregon).

I tried another beach volleyball game aired on NBC too. It didn't detect ANY commercials either
