SageTV Extender - Look and Feel

So this might be a silly question I just don't know where to look for the answer.

What do the SageTV extender menus look like? Do they look like SageTV or like a Media MVP?

They look like whichever Sage STV you install - so to begin with it will look like the default SageTV look and feel. I run SageMC on my extender.

Ahh I see, is that the same story with the MediaMVP?

So does that mean that what displays on the Media Extender can be different from what's displayed on the "base" SageTV? ie: one Sage STV on the "main" box, and a different one on the Media Extender?

I wonder if there is an easier way to maintain STVs across multiple clients/ MVPs. It is a pain in the kiester to have to load new STVs and all of the STVis on multiple machines... would be nice if there was a way to point them all to the same STV.

Why not load on one machine, move to other machines and choose the final stv name from the first?

Any type of SageTV client can be assigned any STV.

Like bcjenkins suggested: simply do all your imports/mods on one system, then go to the other clients & load the same resulting STV after all the mods have been done. All your clients would then use the same exact STV.
