Keep losing 2nd STB control

Hello,
I'm having a little bit of trouble.
I have a PVR500 & a PVR150 & use USB-UIRT.
The PVR150 is in Zone 1 and controls 1 STB
One tuner on the PVR500 controls the 2nd STB in Zone 2.
The other tuner on the PVR500 controls just from the wall cable.
About every other day I lose the ability to change channels with the 2nd STB. While I'm recording somethin on digital cable and ty to watch something else on digital cable, I get the warning "Watching xxx on xxx conflicts with scheduled recording".
I can remove and re-setup the second tuner and it works perfect, but I have to re-setup the channels again. It's getting kinda frustrating.

Anyone have any idea on why this is happening?
Thanks

Arrow HELP DESPERATLY NEEDED!!!!

Ok, well I don't know what to do now. I am going out of town and I still haven't gotten this problem solved. I would APPRECIATE it VERY much if someone could help me before I go.

I was out today and had 2 scheduled recordings on 2 different STB's. When I came home only one recorded.

SAGETV randomly is unable to change channels on one of the 2 STB's and it's not the same one all the time. It could happen to either one.

When this happens, I have to go into tuner setup, delete the one that is acting up, then set it up again, including the channels.

I have a bunch of recordings setup for when I'm gone and now I'll be real sad if this happens while I'm gone.

I don't know if this is the USB-UIRT or SAGETV causing it.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE could someone please help me figure out this problem.

When I don't get any help in the forums, I open a support request.

You should enable debug logging and see what it says when sage misses a channel change. Im sure Support will ask you to do the same thing anyway, and it might be something that gives a clue that you might be able to figure it out.

THANK YOU BOTH!!
I will give both a try. At least that's some direction.
The only thing is that I don't know if it's the USB-UIRT or SAGETV causing it.

Hey guys, yeah I'm having the same issues but I'm using serial control on my set top boxes. Sage will tune the channels manually, (entering in the numbers) but if I set it to record two things at once...one will not tune to the correct channel. Also, while arrowing through the guide while watching live tv just to see what is on other channels...I'll find something and hit enter and it won't switch to the correct channel.

So, I don't think it's your USB-UIRT. I think something is wrong with Sage in this case. Any help appreciated!

p.s. I haven't had any issues up until recently. I thought upgrading to version 5 might help but no luck.

Hey Fatsin,
Thanks for adding this. I've been trying to get this resolved for quite sometime. I have sent a note to Sage support and am waiting for an answer. If I hear anything I'll post it here.

I just read something interesting and I may be an idiot here for not doing it this way, but should be I configuring my tuners in the original SageTV and NOT SageMC?

Yes.

The default STV's setup code gets tweaked to match how it needs to interact with the core. If something changes in that regard, support has no way of telling whether any custom STV has kept up with those changes.
