No S-Video with PVR-350

S-Video out used to work on the 350 with no issues. I had it running into a video switcher so that I could change between the computer and the PVR on the TV.

The video card died, and the s-video on the TV was acting up anyway, so I changed over to composite.

Just upgraded the video card, and can't get s-video back on the 350.

Upgraded to Sage V5, all the latest Hauppage drivers, rebooted, etc, no luck. I see the menus on composite, but I can't get anything out of the s-video ports at this point. Also cannot get s-video output using Hauppage's WinTV product.

I've verified that it's not the cable by moving the computer cable, which works, to the 350 s-video output, which then fails, even though composite works.

Anyone have any suggestions?

could it be that the S-video-out cable that came with the 350 is damaged?

That's about the only thing left to check, but I know it used to work, and it's really just been sitting back there since I unpluged it, hard to imagine that it could have been damaged...

Unless you've bent over a pin when you plugged it in.
I did that trying to blindly reach around the back, get the orientation right, push it in, etc.

Nope, pins are all good.

Moved everything to composite for the time being. Guess I'll ping Hauppage tech support.
