DVD Menu Fix = TV Problem
I, like some others, was having a problem with the on screen cursor when navigating a DVD. Narflex posted a regitry fix (DX9 YUV Mixing=0) that did indeed work. However, when watching recorded programs, every other press of FF or RW, would introduce stutter...press once-stutter, press again, fixed. I tracked it down to the nVIDIA Decoder DXVA Mode setting. With YUV at 1, the decoder is in Mode B idct, TV is fine and the DVD menu is flakey. With YUV at 0, the decoder is in Mode A idct, TV FF/RW is flakey, but the DVD menu cursor is fixed. I havn't tried the reg fix *with* Sage set to DXVA Mode B instead of default yet. Hope this helps.
