Great PQ, Blurry UI? (Pictures included)

My setup: PRV150 MCE, tv-out via Geforce 6600, composite out to about 27" SDTV
This is probably a change from most of the questions posted on this board, i am very happy with my PQ in general, the recorded tv quality is pretty good for me and watching divx looks great. Especially any hd-encoded divx tv-shows look amazing. The negative to this is the UI (running sageMC) looks pretty bad, especially when looking at the guide. At first i wasnt sure if it was theoutput or the UI so i took some printscreen screenshots of sage running the UI and opened them on my computer (19" lcd monitor) and it looked great, crisp, sharp clean. My cuirosity peaked when i saw this picture

and the UI looked great (with the pic clearly taken from a dig camera). So my questions are
1) is it just settings/software stuff i need to play around with? Is it possible to get it looking like this on a SDTV?
2) with an lcd tv that supports dvi would it display as clearly as a smaller monitor? basically would hooking my computer up to like a 37" lcd tv look as good as hooking it up to a 19" lcd monitor?

I am attaching some pictures to try to demonstrate this, i took a printscreen of the menu and of the guide and then took pictures w/my digital camera w/both of them to show the difference. Now obviously the pictures taken w/the camera are going to look worse than it actually looks IRL but it should give an idea about the quality. Also warning to dialup users, these pictures are large, about 1mb ea b/c i did not want to downgrade them as that would have only further changed the picture quality

[Edit: picture links removed because the hosting site also popped up ad windows.]

Thanks for any help/suggestions!

a 37" lcd will look just like your 19" monitor.

i have a 50" hd plasma and a 42" ed plasma and sage connected to either via vga or hdmi looks awesome.
