Question USB-UIRT / DirecTV Setup

I now have two new DirecTV tuners with no serial inputs unfortunately. Is there a way to control both of them with one USB-UIRT or will two be needed and the tuners physically separated to avoid channels being turned on both receivers at the same time? Any information would be greatly appreciated before I purchase the USB-UIRT.

Best regards,

Craig Hickman

The Information Resources for Remotes, Receivers, and IR Blasters sticky post in this forum has some links for the USB-UIRT. In short: there is a way to control up to 3 devices that all use the same IR codes with a single USB-UIRT, but if you can configure them to use different IR code sets, you can control more.

If they are the same IR code set, you'll need external emitters & block each one from affecting the other box.
