Unhappy STB power off issue...

OK,

So like I'm a long time user of Sage and in the recent 6 months I've added a second tuner controling a cable box. I have Warner cable and a SA 3150 box. Warner cable updates the box periodically and this of course re-boots the box and afterwards it stays off. In the past week they have done it twice, both times resulting with MANY shows with a blank screen.

I know some of the older SA boxes had a setting to power on the box with a channel change operation. No joy for this box.

I've searched the forum and not seen any real solution. Others must be using Warner cable and experienceing this?

From what I've seen there is no way to transmit a 'power on' from the IR to the cablebox from within Sage. Very frustrating.

Any help?
