Sage Community Down

Is anyone else having trouble getting to the Sage Community Wiki? I can't seem to connect. Looks like the DNS is borked.

is www.sage-community.org down?

Trying to get a copy of neilm's dynamic menus, I think I need it to fix my problem with the DVD burning utility....

Getting the following message:

Firefox can't find the server at www.sage-community.org

as a workaround, search google with 'site:www.sage-community.org' (and the page you are interested in) and then click on the 'cached' link, then click on 'cached text only' in the header..

Downloads for my plugin modules can be found in the subdirectories at the following address:
http://207.58.130.166/~nielm/nielm_modules/

I've been having some DNS issues. It should be fixed in a couple of hours. Sorry for the inconvenience.

wiki pages down

FYI: the wiki is reporting "database is locked" on all but its main page.

Tom, are you still having DNS issues? It seems to be down fairly regularly when I go there. A couple users on the web server thread are also reporting that it's down.

Not that I'm aware of. I haven't been hitting it very often but I haven't had any problems. I'm way over due moving it to a new provider so maybe it will be better after I complete the move.

"Database is Locked" message prevents access to all pages of the Sage Community except for the main page.

I have two servers (one linux and one windows) that I can host on. They're both dedicated and fully owned by myself. Let me know if you'd like hosting for it, I'll do it for free. The only problem is the Linux one is just a Pentium III, but is on a 10Mbit connection. The Windows one is a fast Xeon, but is only on a 3Mbit connection.

I like the Community Site as an alternative site, but since we have a Downloads section here on the official site, would all the authors upload all customization files here also? There are many ocassions where I'm trying to download something (mostly nielm's stuffs), but the community site is down and have to try a different day.

I have moved all my stuff off the sage-community wiki to another site... I think I have already updated all the links -- please let me know if something is still linking to a sub-page on the old site. (the front page of sage-community still works and links to the other site)

I prefer the wiki to the dowloads section for docs because you can have several pages and because other people can add info..

The sage community site should be back up. I'm not sure how the database got locked but I restarted apache and it seemed to fix it.

I've found the sage community website returns a database locked error every time I try to visit a link off the main page, although which pages work seems to be random. I've just tried going to the SageMC page now and am getting the same database is locked error. It's not an intermitent error, it seems to happen all the time to me Maybe it's me

The Trac version 0.8.1 used by the sage-community site is very old and is known to regularly have DB lockups when creating user sessions.. They do time out after a while...

It would be nice if they could upgrade it. I noticed that nielm keeps a duplicate of his entry elsewhere. I assume he merges back any changes into the sage site?

Does anyone know how I get my password back if I've lost it? I want to update the logo pack I uploaded but I can't get logged in.
