Sage network Encoder and Sage failure?

I am currently running a server with 3 tuners. I would like like to use one of my clients as a network encoder and Sage Client.

My question is if Both the Server and remote Network encoder are recording if I lose the network connection to the Server or lose the Server... Will the network encoder continue to record the program it is recording at time of failure? . Or will it stop recording?

Also can I set the Merit of the Network encoder on the server. I would like the network encoder to have the lowest priority.

I would expect it to stop recording. However you might get it to work by setting the network encoder to record to a local drive with a property setting instead of to the default recording directories that the Server would normally choose. I suspect but have no proof however that when the Server disappears the network encoder would just stop recording. Sorry I can't remember the specific property name but it has been posted in the past I'm just too lazy to do a search.

That is possible with the merit property in the server properties file. Just set the network encoder to 0 and everything else to something greater than zero.
