Programming Sage remotely

Sorry if this has been asked before...is there a way to schedule programs for recording while not physically there, ie remotely from another computer, and preferably without using a VNC client?

Absolutely! Install the Web Interface:

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8426

and you'll have excellent remote programming control! EPG viewing, EPG searching, scheduling, confilict resolution, the list goes on. It was a snap to install.

This is one of those amazing Plugins that really doesn't get the noteriety it deserves!

You can also use a Placeshifter client remotely to do just about everything you can on your home SageTV system, with the same UI menus + media streaming to that remote location.

The web server is nice (and I use that too), but having the full UI available at a remote location also helps.
