I deleted my last note after I re-read your reply and got all the answers I needed except how would I go about getting a v6 key from v5?

If you have a v5 license, then you don't need any update key; the v5 license should work for v6.

Oh yeah... if you purchased v5 from PCAlchemy, see the note at the bottom of the first post in the link I gave above.

I've been wanting to start the upgrade all night if I only knew I had the licence sitting right in front of me all this time. Will have to try again tomorrow.

My friend (which has a MAC) is curious if I can get access to the MAC placeshifter beta ...and, if it's compatible with "my" sageTV 5.x server (i have one license to test with). I couldnt find where to download the beta MAC stuff.

The Mac testing is in a private group, so there is no public download for it.

Upgrade Server plus Clients?
Sorry, I am kind of late to the game here, but I am not sure what I need to purchase to be in a position to upgrade to 6.0...

I own 1 Server plus 3 Client Licenses -- Assuming they're all before version 5.0 does that mean I need to purchase just 1 license or 4 license upgrades?

One server license upgrade for $39.99 is all you need.

What about instead of removing ac3filter.ax you replace it with the newer version? Does that help?
