Auto Xvid Encoding with comskip

Hi, I'm new to SageTV. Just finished setting up xmltv plugins, and the xbmc script with Nielms webserver. As I'm playing everything via xbmc, and streaming over wireless, I want to get sage set up to automatically encode my mpeg recordings to xvid, with commercials removed. I've seen several customisations that seem to achieve this at varying levels e.g.:

seamonkey420's divx encoding/web publishing script
evilpenguins dvd burning mod.

From what I can tell, seamonkey420's script does not have comskip support, and evilpenguin says he's working on xvid encoding, but I dont think it's done.

What are the options for auto xvid conversion with comksip, or showanalyser support? What do you use?

Thanks for any tips

It's also worth noting that my compressing probably won't cut commercials. Although, I don't see this as that big of a deal because when you do in place compression like v6 is doing it still uses the comskip when you're playing them back.

Having a problem? Don't forget to include a log! (Instructions for: PlayOn For SageTV v1.5, MediaShrink)

It still uses comskip for some of mine, but not all. Does it use it for all the different file types for you?

If you're using dirmon, make sure you modify your clean up settings to check for the mpg and the avi, otherwise when you replace a show it'll get rid of your comskip files. That was my problem originally

Unfortunately, I dont think that will help me, as I'll be viewing everything via xbmc, which doesnt have comskip support. SageTV will only be used for scheduling and recording. Once it's recorded, I'd like it to have the commercials stripped out, encoded to xvid, and transferred to my nas drive. So there is no plugin/ combination of plugins that I can use to achieve this?
