SPDIF and volume control
My home theater receiver has a SPDIF connection, but my HTPC does not. It turns out that it's a very simple matter and small expense to add one, and I would like to do so to be able to get 5.1 from DVD's, etc. But my question is this: Will SageTV control the volume of the SPDIF feed, or will I need to use my receiver's remote to manage the volume?

Provided you have your audio decoders setup correctly you'll be able to control everything except Dobly Digital on DVD's. That you have to adjust on the reciever.
