MVP with DVB-T no sound and jerky picture

I think the title says it all, but is anyone elese experiencing difficulties with MVP playing back DVB-T from UK?
DVB-T tunes in OK to Sutton Coldfield transmitter, although not as well as under GBPVR and MediaPortal for some reason - seems to get "no signal" fairly regularly in Sage but never in other apps.

But when coming to playback the video on MVP there is no sound, and picture is very jerky.

I had raised a bug report on the lack of audio in 5.? and was told this should be fixed in the next release.

Can anyone confirm that they are successfully playing UK DVB-T through a wired MVP with smooth video and sound?

I am very reluctant to spend an upgrade fee unless I can get this working

I have exactly the same problem, but from The Wrekin transmitter.
I've submitted multiple bug reports during the last round of beta releases and one for this latest release but never had a single response.

I was beginning to think I was the only UK user trying to watch DVB-T on my MVP.

Hello guys,
I'm in exactly the same boat over here in Australia, but I am the only person here who has an MVP and want's to use it for DVB-T!!
I have made contact with Sage support, and it is being worked on as far as I know, If they let me know anything, I'll pass it on here.
Cheers,
Fraser

Hi,

Any update on this?

I get recorded and live DVB-T playback perfectly on the PC.

On the MVP I get video playback eventually if I pause and play rewind, fastforward and generally nutter click until something happens. But I get no audio whatsoever.

Is the issue resolved in 6, should I be using the Anders plugin with 5, does anyone have this working anywhere?

Michael

PS
I'm using sage 5, terratec cinergy 2400DTi, Dell 9100 with windows XP and Billion ADSL router, and Hauppage MVP.

Hi,

I was having the same problems as you in ver 5.x.

Had the same problem in ver 6.0.11 would be fine on the PC, but no sound and jerky picture on my MVP.

Things seem to be working now in ver 6.0.13 but not perfect, but it works.
Channel changing seems to take its time and sometimes you don't get anything.

Dean
