Exclamation PVR-350 & its TV-Out

Hi everyone. I'm new to SageTV.

Right now I'm using the TV-Out on the Hauppauge PVR-350 tuner card. Should I be able to see videos in the imported video library played back through this port?

It depends on their format. See: Imported videos don't play on PVR350 output.

Thanks for the link.

Before I give up completely on it, do you know of any benifits to using the output directly from the tuner itself?

One drawback I notice is the menus redraw much slower (EPG also). Does using it cause the tuner card to generate more heat or no?
