Long Pauses as Last Show is Deleted
Just starting in version 6, Sage will take nearly 10-15 seconds to delete the last show I've just watched as the new show starts. It repeats the sound from the last 5 seconds or so over and over until the deletion is done and then rapidly plays the missing material from those 15 seconds for the next few until it's caught up.
Why the new long pauses between shows? What can I do to minimize this? It's regardless of any audio or video settings I've tried. Thanks.

It's all standard definition analog television on a single PC. Long pauses did not occur on v5. It also seems to happen on channel changes, either CH+ CH- or through the program guide. It's as if deleting the recordings or managing them has somehow become a really involved task.
