Beta no longer recording

The beta has now failed to record several favorites and even a couple of manual records. The shows are scheduled right up to the minute when they begin and then Sage mysteriously reschedules them for a different time slot. When that time slot arrives Sage drops them from the schedule completely and they do not get recorded.

Ouch! You should probably submit a log, that's pretty serious. No problems like that here. You have plenty of space for the recordings? Your recording folders in Setup are correct?

Does watching live TV even work? Check your sources too, but "plenty of disk space" inlcudes making sure you don't have some sort of file undelete utility that is causing deleted files to be saved instead of deleted, thus continuing to take up disk space that SageTV can't use.

Everything's set up properly. Over 300 GB free disk space. This is a problem with the Sage beta.

I watched how a couple of recording went last night and then looked at the log entries. Sage is actually recording them all the way through but then deletes them. There were some entries in the log about cancelling the recordings that appeared after it was finished. I guess this is one for tech support / bug report.

I had a problem with CSI Miami. It's setup as a favorite for first-run. The last episode was a first run and was the only timeslot that it ran. But the recording schedule didn't include it. No conflicts were reported. I deleted the favorite, shutdown Sage and put it back and it still would not show up. I had to manually record it.

You guys aren't using Stephanie's xmltv importer are you? If so, there's a problem with the importer and the 6.0 beta right now. There are a few threads about it. Might want to check them out...

Not using XMLTV at all. Built in guide data. I submitted a bug report and Sage asked me to send in the log files.
