Welcome...

You'll need to:

(1) Install the SageMC 16x9 Version 6.x (latest dev build)

(2) Load SageMC16x9 for SageTV 6.x (Build v6.2.0a) (Corrected)

(3) Import iTV Theme & STV Import for SageMC

in that order

Make sure that the stv is working at every step...

First you have to get the original load for SageMC and install that before you can use this. Check the SageMC thread and first post or the wiki for instructions.

EDIT: I type too slow.

Ahhh...

So there is an intermediate STV in there

I guess I did read somewhere that iTV was based on another STV - I guess it never dawned on me that iTV wasn't self-sufficient.

I'll set it up tonight.

Thanks!

I see that I didn't really identify that requirement in the instructions. I just assume everybody already uses the SageMC STV! I'll update the instructions.

Actually, you have to load the STV, if you import it all hell breaks loose ...

Hehe...

You guys are too much.

Since you brought it up, I do have a couple of ideas for some Christmas graphics. I'll see what I can come up with.

BTW, just so you know, I haven't been slacking. I've been working on a couple of small enhancements for SageMC. The first seems to be working and after some additional functionality is added, it should make it into the next version of SageMC. The second is something I have to discuss with Morgan to see if he might want to include it in the Movietimes plugin for SageMC.

Aloha,
Mike

Ok, I'll let you guys off the hook this time.

1. Animated RSS news ticker

2. MovieTimes screensaver. (Displays info and Movie poster. Cycles through all currently playing movies)

Aloha,
Mike

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I won't be posting any Christmas graphics this year. Sorry, maybe next year.

Right now, I've got another project in the works for SageMC that is taking up all of my available play time and I've decided to start teaching myself Java.

Aloha,
Mike

Okay, Mike, thanks for...well...nothing...not even a preview, mention of what it is, nothing??? Are you kidding me? You don't have to be like all the TV shows that are going on their 2 month long "Christmas" break, you know!

Oh, wait, that's right, shhhh....never mind, I already forgot...

I should have known that would start a furor. It's still way too early to discuss the current project. But I can at least tell you that the ticker and movie times screensaver are completed on my end and I've sent them to Dirk and Morgan, respectively.

BTW, Dirk took the ball and ran with it on the ticker. I really can't even take any credit for it anymore. It should be pretty cool.

Aloha,
Mike
