After starting the service..why did this happen.
I just set the Sagetv service to start with a particular logon. After doing that I started the Sage GUI and now it's wanting to run the configuration wizard. Why is that?

Probably because it's running as a psuedo-client, and uses a separate properties file.

you can copy everything in the Sage.properties file into SageClient.properties file and you will be good to go
