Programming MVP Remote

I have a wMVP. I have to run it wired because I have never been able to obtain an IP addresss wirelessly. Oh well.

My question deals with programming the remote. The skip ahead only goes 15 seconds. How can I extend this period to effectively skip commercials?

P.S. It would be great if someone could start a thread or poll on the routers that work with the wMVP.

In the setup--->detailed setup-->customize screen you can configure the ff and rw times. I usually leave the ff & rw at 10 seconds and then set the ff2 and rw2 times to 180 seconds. You can then go into the commands screen and link infrared/keystroke to any key you want. You can then bind the ff2 and rw2 buttons to whatever you want.

ps--you should check out the customization section in the forums (especially sagemc) and use the comskip program for commercial skipping. It will automatically detect and skip the commercials for you!
