Feature request: Gapless music playback
Now that Sage support the flac format I think it would be really nice if also gapless playback was supported.
Today when playing classical music Sage, like other non gapless players, inserts a small gap between each tune. But with classical music its very noticeable because very often the music continues and then you get holes. There are already players eg. JetAudio that play gapless. It would be nice if it could be implemented in Sage so also the mvp could play flac files gapless. It would make Sage the obvious platform for a full scale media center system and I could avoid bying a Sqeezebox for music playback. A Squezzebox cost around 300$ so i think the willingness to pay is quite high for this feature. Thanks rtengvad

Great suggestion! It would be very nice for pretty much any genre.
I even like how some players offer an "overlap" effect mimicing the old 70's-style of how DJ's sometimes played songs back-to-back where the second song started a few seconds before the first song finished. Yes, some find it annoying, but I think it's kinda cool! And I if the developers need something else to do, I would apply the same concept to the "visualization" screen that shows the currently playing track details floating around the screen: When a track finishes playing, the screen "jerks" (for lack of a better term) when the next track info displays. It would be nice to have the transition from one display to the next be a fading display, making the transition "softer".
