DVDs through MVP - no menu highlight

Anyone else seen this? I can still navigate "blind" and make selections, but I just don't see what I'm doing.

I noticed this AFTER the first level of the menus - at least on beta version 6.0.11. I'm having audio trouble on version 6.0,12 so I haven't done a lot of testing, but I believe it was working correctly with the latest beta.

What beta are you seeing this on?

I had this back then v6 was in private testing but I thought it went away. I'll look at it again.

I only noticed it when the DVD menu was using a still frame as the menu, no motion video.

I'm not sure if the dvd menu was still or had video - I'll double check.

And by the way, I am using the nvidia decoders, which were giving trouble for theatertek that way for the longest time, but that bug has been fixed - at least in TT. (My server is my htpc on which I also use TT.)

Hi David,

Unfortunately anything nvidia decoder-wise is irrelevant here. The MVP is a HARDWARE DECODING device, so it can't use any software for decode.

FWIW, I use TheaterTek also and LOVE IT. Great product, and the best support anywhere.

Echoing the DVD menu issue.

FWIW, Futurama Vol 1, DVD 1, root menu.

Also, I just noticed - no sound on the main menu.

The two bugs (no highlight/no music) seem pretty random and will happen or not on the same dvd :-(

PGPFan: Ok, I don't know why I had assumed that the decoding was done on the server

I'll list another issue since I'm at it; sometimes the DVD doesn't make it past the FBI warnings (it just gets stuck at the end of the segment). It's not a big deal because if you hit "DVD Menu" then it makes it there ok, and most of the time that's what I will do...
