iTV Theme...

Ok i wanted to give thanks to who ever came up with this theme. I started using this theme last week and i love it. Only problem i have is that there are so many themes now i don't even know which one to get. I see different variation and i will like to just get one that have everything nicely done.

I have installed quite a few different onces and right now i don't even know whats in what dir anymore and last time i looked my sageTV dir is over 130megs.

So please where can i get a complete version?

Glad you like it! The iTV theme related files are stored under STVs\SageTV3\SageMCE\Images_iTV and then get transferred into the Images directory where they are used. If you have not interest in switching to any other SageMC theme, then you could delete all of the Images_xxx directories to save space. I am planning on an update tonight that will incorporate updated graphics and updated import file. You gave me a thought that perhaps I should just have it put all of the graphics files directly into the working Images directory to save the difficulty of modifying the properties file and having to "apply" the theme. I may do that for this next update.

Please do and let me know... i will delete ALL other themes since i don't use or like one or two things about them.

Hi Morgan,

Just keep in mind that if you do this, the user won't be able to switch to another theme and back without reinstalling the iTV plugin files, as the other chosen theme will overwrite the Images folder. This could create a support problem. It would be nice if the import could automatically add the properties, but that would require figuring out how to determine the correct theme number to assign. Hmm, I wonder if a theme number of '0' would work. I think the themes currently start with '1'. Just thinking out loud....

I'm also getting confused by all the themes around right now. I really like the look of iTV though. Does it have all of the same functions as SageMC? Do you need Sage V6 to run it or does it work fine on V5 as well?

Actually, I think in the sage.properties file they start with 0. Now that we've covered all of the bases, one of us must be right!
