Saturation By Channel

I've noticed that the CW (Previously the UPN) channel saturation is a lot darker than other channels, such as Fox. Is there a way to control the saturation for a specific channel.

I feel your pain. I get two NBC stations and one of them is so dark and red that it is unwatchable. The other has good color and brightness, but it is impossible to get proper deinterlacing for some reason, the jaggies are horrible. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything you can do.

I'm so looking forward to QAM in Sage so I can actually enjoy watching all the Law & Order shows. Just waiting on a good dual tuner solution.

Yes, well, yeah.

I've wanted to make fine tunes per channel per card as well. Heck, I even wanted at some points to do it per 'show'... as some shows simply look like junk compared to all others on the same channel. But that was a bit much to ask for

you know... that would be a killer feature.

Imagine a small button on every channel (or show!) that quickly allows you to tune the color values (without getting in the way of the video)!

It sounds like a lot to ask, but then, adding a simple button and coding a quick flat database (append to file name) to hold the values wouldn't take too long? :P

I was thinking the same thing also. It should be doable to customize specific channels. I haven't looked, but is there a forum for which we can suggest new features?

Speaking of the 'new CW' (lame name), I realize what you were saying, and YES, it is vastly and horribly out of tune with most all other channels. Smallville looks like crap now, as does like gilmore girls even (yes I watch those shows... so shoot me! please, shoot me!).
