Sage default media player.

It seems that Sage uses WMP for playing DVDs. Is it possible to change the default media player? I see many mentioning that they use Zoomplayer or Theatertek to view DVDs. Are they using these apps outside of Sage?

Just curious, because I run into audio issues with WMP9. Every time I play a DVD, the audio is far lower than it is when watching Live TV. I've run into this before and I usually just use a different app to play the DVD. But with SAGE, I would like to keep things as simple as possible and not have poeple switching apps unless it is absolutely necessary.

Thanks,

BT

This is normal and has been discussed many times. Here is a thread explaining the problem and a way to work around it.

Here is another thread.

Personally I've been using FFDshow to normalize the audio for my imported videos (I don't have a DVD player at the moment) and it works much better for me than the AC3 filter.
