Checking for issues with movie playback?

I have nearly 100 movies on my harddrive. Occasionally, I get a movie that will freeze or crash Sage altogether. It sucks when it happens in the middle of the movie. Is there any way I can play/preview all the movies in hi-speed just to make sure they play all the way through?

Are they all the same type of file? (DVD MPEG-2, DivX, etc...)

You could program a skip button for something like 10 minutes, and FF through it. That button would be useless for commercials however.

They are all movies ripped to the hard drive, video_ts folders.

I have on particuliar movie which always crashes SageTV in the first scene. If I play it with WinDVD it usually plays fine.

Here is the error message:

Error signature

Appname: sagetv.exe Appver: 2.0.0.1 Modname: ivivideo.ax
Modver: 4.0.11.255 Offset: 000f9e27

Is this related to the WinDVD decoder?? (I'm using WinDVD v4)

Is there another decoder I should be using which is less "sensetive"?
