Sage6, MVP, DVD rips = no audio
Okay, using SageTV 6, with latest SageMC, so if this is the wrong forum, sorry.
DVDs used to work, but now when I try and play them on the MVP, the audio is hit or miss. Sometimes it works for the menu, but not the movie itself. Sometimes it works in the movie for a while, then just stops. Sometimes it works in the movie until I pause/change aspect ratio/FF/etc. Soft booting the MVP via green button allows me to try again. The problem is reproduceable (to an extent) but the audio drop doesn't always happen at the same time/same action... Also, DVD menu volume is much louder than the movie's - related to transcoding ? Can it be normalized? Guess that answers the forum question....

Do you have the same problem if you use the original stv? If not you should address it to SageMC.

to remedy i have to stop and resume playback. |
