Question Copy-protected recording?

I have happauge pvr-150 mce and sky+ connected by s-video. I want to record some matches and highlights on bbc1, sky sports 1, chelseatv and mutv. I'm using mce but, I'm worried the channels could be copy-protected. because my hauppauge mce card can intergrate with mce to detect copy-protected programs and record it copy-protected. (http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/post/72386.aspx)

I searched "copy protected" in the forum but, I couldn't find anything. Does this mean Sagetv doesn't do copy-protected recordings?

thanks

SageTV doesn't do any DRM (digital rights management) recording like MCE does. Everything is recorded in the clear to standard .mpg files or .avi, depending on the tuner card.

As long as your sky+ STB outputs all channels vial the s-video output, Sage can record them all with no DRM.
