Converted Video Not Playing in QuickTime or Loading on IPOD

I converted several shows to the IPOD High Quality format. When I attemp to load them to my IPOD with Itunes or play them directly in Quicktime, I get a -2010 Error: This movie is corrupted or invalid.

The strange thing is, I can use other MP4 players (like VLC) to play the movie. It also plays back fine through Sage. Is there something just messed up with my Quicktime installation? Or is something else going on?

if you're talking about using the sage compression then it's in divx format and i'm pretty sure an ipod wont play a divx file - itunes definitely wont play a divx file.

I was choosing the option that says IPOD Compatible - High Quality...I took that as it would play on my IPOD.

Any update to this? I was debating on getting either a Creative Zen:M or an iPod, and would like to know if watching some of my SageTV shows on an iPod is a possibility.
