Can SageTv go into the Taskbar tray?
From what I understand the program needs to be somewhat running for it to rec. a show. However I was looking for a way to get it to move to the taskbar without having me to put it in sleeping mode.

You can minimize its window to the taskbasr, if that is what you mean, but it isn't going to do that automatically. The other options are full screen screen saver mode (can enter screen saver mode automatically), just plain sitting on the desktop as a window, or sleeping in the system tray. In all cases, it can continue to record.
Or, you can run service mode & it will record whether the UI is running or not. - Andy

OT Feature Request Inside
Are there any plans ever for creating a tray icon that will list upcoming recordings & what is currently being recorded when you mouse-over.
Especially in service mode, that would be a great feature to have! Thanks, -Dan

There is a way have SageTV automatically start in minimized mode. It is in one of the advanced setup menus. Sorry, I am at work right now and don't have access to SageTV. If you can't find the menu item, I can check my computer once I get home.
