DVD / Manual Question

Just upgraded system from pentium 3 to AMD 64 3200....I may post that story later...

Anyhow, used nvidia decoder on it with DVD playback no problem. I was planning on just using whatever came with Sage but it appears that it does not natively play DVDs (you need a decoder). This is surprising to me since windows media player can play them, I would think the default decoder would work and or the sage decoder (tried both). Anyway, I figured I would see if I was correct that I need to install nividia decoder....

I figure this all probably in the manual, but is there a link to just the manual. The sage system is only connected to a TV and I'd like to read it on normal monitor.

Thanks!

The "default" decoder is the one that windows uses as the default decoder. In other words the last decoder installed on your system becomes the default.

The Sage decoder does not play DVDs.
