Timestamp issue with multiple Hauppauge 150s

I've been having all sorts of problems with any of the newer Hauppauge drivers and multiple 150s. The recorded files randomly have corrupt timestamps which cause all sorts of troubles for SageTV (time advancing 4 or 5 seconds at a time). For the longest time, I couldn't find a resolution and had to revert back to the drivers that originally came on the CD.

Well, I was trolling around today and found this thread. I installed the latest Beta driver from Hauppauge (again) and tried with the registry changes that are suggested. I then turned on intelligent recording and started testing (both 150s recording at same time, watching one while FF/REW until caught up to live, then switch to other show and do the same). So far, so good. None of my recordings appear to have timestamp issues anymore.

I only wish I would have seen this 'fix' back in February. This issue has caused me all sorts of headaches.

Regards,
Wade

For reference, add the following two DWORD entries.
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\hcwPP2\DriverData
"HcwTimeStampIssue1"=dword:00000001
"HcwTimeStampIssue2"=dword:00000000

You should have posted here for help. The fix has been posted here since May (I believe taken from the thread you linked to). It worked for myself and practically everyone else who tried it so you shouldn't have anymore problems. I have gotten one or two bad recordings since then, but over the course of 6 months that isn't too bad I guess.
