Version in Help does not match what I installed?

I just installed version 15 over version 14 and Help/System Information still shows that I'm running 6.0.12.110? (It also showed that when I installed 14?) I searched my system and the only SageTV.exe file is in the right subdir and is dated 10/16 1:58pm. When I tried to install again (to double check), it gave me the option to repair, etc. instead of installing.

Is the version not getting updated in help or am I not getting it installed?

my version in help is 6.0.15.115...
You definately have the wrong .exe, and check the Sage.jar file size/date too:

SageTV.exe: 22/11/2006 15:47 772Kb
Sage.jar: 22/11/2006 15:47 1960Kb

Sage.jar was also outdated.

I tried modify and repair, but both failed to make a difference.
I finally uninstalled, reinstalled and copied the 2 properties files from my backup over the 2 files that the install reset to and I am now getting the correct version and files.

Do I need any other files from my backup?
Are my older versions of the properties files ok to use?

Wiz.bin, Wiz.bak (unless you have the pre-uninstalled versions) otherwise you will lose favorites and information for existing recordings.

Older versions of properties *may* be OK, but may give EPG update problems (see here)
