Thanks for the list! It sure saved me a lot of time a few weeks ago. However, I just woke up this morning and what was working before now is not. I've verified that the channels haven't moved, but most of what was unencrypted is now encrypted. What's left clearly mirrors what's still on analog.

Can anybody in the Portland area verify that things changed last night?

I'll answer my own question. We still have unencrypted QAM. They just moved most of them to the analog trap area, channels 64-69. Time for a rescan.

The list appears to be 90% accurate for TWC in the 78578 PZ. When we have a bad weather day, I'll bring it up to date for this zip.

Thanks to Phil H for doing most of the work…

Some channels here are duplicates or have duplicate channels numbers. I’d check which comes in better and use that one. I also noted that the qam tuner on the TV I use here on some (xxx.1) listing will have two channels on it. Put another way, 119.1 has an HD station and you go (up) one channel to what should be 119.11 or 119.2 and you get another channel but the indicator on the display still reads 119.1

In addition, it is a hoot calling TWC. You can ask tham for a QAM listing and they act like your are calling from space. (outer) I went up the food chain as far as time permitted yesterday to absolutely no avail. Makes me wonder why we have displays with qam tuners in them! Any hoo… here is all I could find… and as they were less than forthcoming (twc) I included the on demand listings I found. They allow you to surf and if somebody has paid for a film, you can piggyback on their viewing. Not much there to be sure, but…

Here in South Texas & I do mean South our cable company is not the regular TWC (Time Warner Cable). Our cable company is a franchise of TWC. So sometimes they do things differently. All of our clear QAM channels is one. Hope they keep it that way..

After the last few frustrating months trying to remember them I finally sat down and mapped them out. Took a bit of time as I stumbled upon some cool movies.....G4 channel seems to not show up on scan but if you punch it in there you go. Disney-W is also that way, but if you hit 90-6.....

Special thanks to my daughter (10) who figured out the Disney channel and xxxxxxx who found if you hang around on a scrambled channel, eventually somebody buys a movie and you get to see it too.

I just plugged my cable into my LG 42LG70 120hz LCD, and it found these.

Not all areas do.

My WOW based cable account only gets the local broadcast stations and music as QAM.
