Is there a way to show the channel signal strength in Sage 6.0

Same way as in v5: go to Channel Setup from the Source Details of some digital source & preview a channel. It should show the signal strength above the channel list.

Andy..I went to the channels setup from the source details and I do not see any option for previewing a channel. The only thing I can do is click on the individual channel and it puts a green "dot" next to it or takes off the green "dot"..

what am I missing?

Thanks,

Gary

Currently using 6.014 with the dynamic menu....

While on the Channel Setup menu, use the Options command, then change the Video Menu Options so that it will Display Video on Menus -- use If Active if you don't want it always on. You can use Window for the style.

When videos are never shown on menus, the 'View' button won't be active on Channel Setup... since there won't be a way to preview the video.

Ok..1 step closer...I got the "view" button in channel setup and clicked on it...I got the preview....

is that all? ...I assumed when you said that there was something that shows signal strength that there might be either a graph or a number or something quantitative showing signal strength..

There is nothing above the channels indicating signal strength. Unless you mean just looking at the preview shows signal strength.

Thanks,

Gary Ellis

The digital source has to be a digital TV tuner. Not sure if it should include any other digital source.
