no audio when playing DVD on MVP

Hi,

Just installed 6.0.16 RC1; all works like a charm except playing DVD-images on the MVP. There is no sound. When playing the individual VOB-files on the MVP, there is sound. I am using the trial license.

Furthermore, I notice that the audio track by default is not selected although there is only one audio track (stereo). Selecting the audio track doesn't give me sound either..

Is it a known bug or some configuration issue?

John

I have it with all home made DVD's, which play perfectly on standalone players and computers (even with SageClient) but not on the MVP.
DVD are created with DVD-Lab from MediaChance

Did not try any ripped DVD's

Could you post the debug log when you try to play back one of them.

Thanks

Could you select one of the main vob files (VTS_01_1.VOB) and give me the detailed information from the user interface for it? This should give information about the video and audio streams in the file.

This DVD doesn't set an audio track so it defaults to audio track 0 but it's possible it might not exist.

Thanks

This should be fixed in the next build. Let me know if it works or not.

Thanks

ok..great..I'm having the same problem...

ripped DVD's with AC3 play fine, but home made DVD's (probably with a different audio) have no sound through MVP.

You say this should be fixed in next beta release?

Thanks,

Gary Ellis
