AC3 passthrough?
Hi all,
Has anyone been able to get the MVP to passthrough AC3 to its spdif output? The lack of ac3 support on the MVP is currently the only thing keeping me from kicking my sagetvclient pc to the curb.. <edit>: I just found out that AC3 passthrough works for DVD playback, but not for AVI files. Anybody know how to get AC3 working for AVI files too? Last edited by Zladotimov; 12-14-2006 at 05:18 PM.

I believe the new version 6 of the software has that support built in...For older versions there is a couple of entries that you must input into the properties file.
You will need to search the forums to find those entries since I've upgraded to version 6, I don't have them any more.. Gary Ellis
